Tracy Moseley on Bike Bus
Worcester's own Tracy Moseley took to the airwaves on BBC Hereford & Worcester to talk Bike Bus — and our ambition to bring one to every primary school in the city.
You may have heard a familiar Worcester voice on BBC Hereford & Worcester this week. Tracy Moseley - four-times Mountain Bike World Champion, Worcester-born, and friend of Bike Worcester - was on air talking about something close to our hearts: the Bike Bus.

A champion who walks the walk
Tracy knows first-hand what a Bike Bus does, because she helped start one. With support from Bike Worcester, she set up a route at her son's school so children and parents could do the school run together, safely, on their bikes. That's exactly the magic we want every family in the city to have within reach.
The ambition: a Bike Bus at every school
There are already 13 Bike Buses rolling across Worcester — and we're not stopping there. Our plan is to launch a new one roughly every month until every primary school in the city has its own, by April 2027.
A Bike Bus is a simple, joyful thing: a group of children and grown-ups cycling to school together along a set route, picking up more riders at "stops" along the way. It turns the school run into the best part of the day — and gives families the confidence and safety in numbers to leave the car at home.
We need you
To power this vision, we need more volunteers. No experience required — it's as simple as turning up and riding your bike with the Bike Bus families. And if you live near a route, you don't even need to ride: we always need static marshalls to help children cross safely. Whatever you can offer, we would love to have you.
If your school doesn't have a Bike Bus yet, you could be the person who starts it.
Thanks for being part of it.
