Our Team
Bike Worcester has an amazing team of volunteers who give loads of their time encouraging and enabling people in Worcester to travel actively.
-

Dan Brothwell
Danny, whose ongoing quest for the perfect Gaelic shrug adds a touch of international mystery to our team, shows us that even the smallest expressions can hold hidden depths.
-

Katie Collier
Katie describes herself as an “accidental cycling advocate” and just wants to be able to cycle safely from home to school. Pink goes with everything.
-

Rob Collier
Loves a Bike Bus. Bubbles. Has silly ideas that are sometimes supported by others. Can often be found holding up car traffic. Stickers are brilliant.
-

Isabelle Michel
Cycle toured and wild camped from the UK to New Zealand, but keeps that quiet. Often seen towing a large teddy bear called John Archibald. Brings Gallic flair and inspiration.
-

Lars Frederiksen
Lars loves stopping traffic on the Tything for the Bike Bus and can often be found falling off his unicyle.
-

Ian Faddy-Widman
Ian is one of the NWPA Bike Bus leaders from Claines. Loads of expertise on transport planning and an enthusiastic road designer!
-

Al Pagan
Rarely seen without his handler, Kiki. A bike bus a day keeps Al’s doctor away. Loves a tune and fiddling with radio antenna.
-

Leisa Taylor
Often seen in town on a fixie cos she’s cool. Specialises in youth work and radical thinking.
-

Alex Mace
Alex helps to lead the St Barnabas Bike Bus. Enjoys puns and dad jokes and is (occasionally) funny.
-

Ant Clerici
Ant is one of our cargo bike heroes and will scoop up any of the littler people who have tired legs!
-

Jo Joyce
Lead parent on Northwick Bike Bus, which has strong potential as the biggest bus in Worcester (no pressure!) Extremely energetic and inspiring!
-

Neil Chapman
Our go-to forecaster for Friday’s Bike Bus weather. When he’s not sharing Bike Bus stories, he’s trying to persuade more colleagues to cycle to work.
-

Rosie Venner
Lead parent on Stanley Road Bike Bus and a school Governer, Rosie is a great advocate for active travel and safer streets in her community. Bravo!
-

Margaret Layland
Super ace Bike Bus volunteer (and more) in Dines Green, and one of the OG for calling for change back in the day. Go Margaret!
-

Chantal Pottage
Chantal works tirelessly promoting Bike Worcester on Facebook, as well as rocking on multiple Bike Buses (we don’t have favourites, but Nunnery?!)
-

Fee Blake
Yikes! Fiona is a force of nature and no obstacle will stand in her way. Fee leads on press and media, and was the engine behind our 100 Worcester Women Who Cycle campaign.
-

Sally H
Sally is a clockwork volunteer on our St George’s RC Bike Bus and School Street champion. Keep fighting the good fight, Sally!
-

Tim Jennings
Tim keeps our books balanced and makes sure we have enough cash for stickers and bubble mixture. He also co-runs Nunnery Wood Bike Bus with Eve, proving that even bean counters can be cool.
-

Eve Jennings
Nunnery Wood OG. Will struggle to find a smilier Bike Bus volunteer. Brings ‘calm under pressure’ vibes, always.
-

Fleur V
Fleur has flare! Another Nunnery founder, Fleur is a mapping extraordinaire and is at home in the nerdiest of Bike Worcester nerd chat.
-

Emily Kippen
Emily, with her partner Guy, are leaders of Drakes Broughton Bike Bus, giving the Worcester Bike Buses a more rural angle
-

Guy Kippen
Guy (along with Emily) lead the Drakes Broughton Bike Bus. Guy is also often found blocking junctions at our Kidical Mass rides!
-

Jim Pantall
Lovely Jim is sadly no longer with us; we miss him dearly. Known for snazzy jumpers and shorts all year round.
