AGM - 2nd November

Bike Worcester's AGM is on Monday 2 November, starting at 7pm in Meeting Room 2 at The Hive in Worcester. Everyone is welcome.

To be eligible to vote on matters arising, including for Bike Worcester's trustees, please fill in this short form.

We'll receive reports from trustees and project leads, plan for next year and vote on our future trustees (Chair, Secretary and Treasurer).

Thursday 22 October: Glow Ride

Part of Cycling UK's national campaign. Meet in Cathedral Square at 8pm for a friendly ride around the city, then join us at Spin the Black Circle at 8:45pm. Sign up on Facebook here (https://fb.me/e/6qbgcec9K) .

We believe cycling should feel liberating, not intimidating. But sadly, that's not the case for everyone. Women make half as many trips by bike as men, and are more likely to be put off cycling by a fear of busy traffic.

Women shouldn't feel forced to choose between a busy road and a dark isolated path. There should be a route that feels safe and welcoming. This isn't just about transport; it's about equality, opportunity and giving more people the freedom to ride. Because when we make cycling safer for women, we make it safer for everyone.

Saturday 31 October: Halloween Ride

A repeat of last year's Halloween Ride. Come at your spooky best: we meet at sunset at the Elgar statue, ride to Bike Bus neighbourhoods to give out sweets, then check out some of Worcester's scariest roads.

Saturday 14 November: Cycling UK advocacy event, Reading

Bike Worcester has been invited to Cycling UK's advocacy event in Reading. Please let us know if you'd like to join the Bike Worcester delegation.

Saturday 19 December: Kidical and Critical XMASS special

Meet at 10:15am at Cafe Viaduct for a festive ride.
